This session will introduce research and evidence-based material that support student learning. Participants will review current research in the field, what worked for me as an educator and what I have learned from colleagues and/or peers both within a school setting and within my educational experience. We will brainstorm activities for students plus participants will be provided with materials for student learning and have a brief question period. Participants will leave this workshop with materials and strategies that can be immediately used in the classroom.
